Photograph

For a long time, I have been searching for the perfect photograph to represent how I feel. Though as my happiness fluctuates, I suspect the photo I'm searching for alters slightly as well (I don't know how the photo is supposed to look, I am merely looking for one to fit my feelings).

I need a photograph that has an elusive feel to it. Some sight you’d imagine in a dream but never see on an ordinary day. This doesn’t mean abstract; I’m looking for reality. I love landscapes that “drift off”. I love the calm feel of an ocean horizon. Fog lends a mystical essence. Something that suggests hope is there, but at the same time, it’s not. Something that makes you happy inside, alone or with that special person (no specific person, anymore).

Basically I’ve been looking for a photograph to represent how I feel. I have many, many regrets. I am not always satisfied (rarely, these days). But the imagination and anticipations are there. The mood of the photograph is not supposed to be vibrant and wild, nor sad or moping. Freedom, beauty, and natural and aesthetic elements are key.

I know what I’m looking for is described rather vaguely, but to tell you the truth, I don’t know exactly what I’m looking for. I just know if I see it, I’ll know it.

If you find the perfect photograph for me, I'll draw something in return. :) Even posting a picture or two you think might be the one would be greatly appreciated. :D Thanks so much!

Every artist is a cannibal, every poet is a thief. They steal their inspiration and sing about their grief.

Well...drawing for like a hobby :)
I drew chibis with a tablet before, but I'm too lazy (and still am) to learn how to CG properly, draw eyes, etc. XD

I really like the poses and detail in your art--can't do 'em :D

xD I'm actually kinda bad at poses... I need to work on more variety and perspective in my work, too.
Did you draw your avatar?
